I always love coming to hernando point. The people and lake is always a great time.
Lots of semi private picnic areas that include grills and fixed picnic tables. Also, they have a longer-term camping area as well. Nice playground for the kids.
Quiet, off the beaten path camping with clean bathrooms and hot showers.
There is some work that could be done to make this place great an it wouldn't be very costly. Place is nice though but they need to do some clearing an open a beach area around the camping locations. Closest beach is a ways away.
Very nice Recreation Area! Although the lake may not be crystal clear, it's still very beautiful here, especially at sunrise and sunset.
Campground with Shady sites some with Lake View but no enough Ballroom, very clean everywhere
