Monday 8/13 I went to Dennis Wright Plumbing to ask about connecting the copper lines to a newly installed water heater at my sister's house. I was told by Dennis Wright that it could be done around noon that day. Since I was to be there when the work was performed, I asked for a 30 minute lead time phone call before the installer arrived. That was agreed upon by Dennis Wright. HOWEVER, at around 11 a.m. when I phoned my sister to tell her the approximate time that the installer would arrive, my sister informed me that the installer had arrived without the notice being given to me as agreed, and that he had gone to get some parts. I called the plumbing office and was told by a woman that she was unaware of a call notification. I asked her for the installer to call me, which he did, and during the conversation he told me that the entire vent pipe needed to be replaced---something about it being incompatible with the heater, which made no sense since the vent is double wall pipe and was the original install when the house was built. The installer came up with a cost figure of around $600 which was absurd--it appears that quoted prices are commission heavy with whatever a customer will agree to. i will agree that the quality of the work was good, BUT BE AWARE of the possibility of being told that things are needed for a particular job when in reality they are not. By the way, no one at Dennis Wright Plumbing offered an explanation to me as to why they did not do as they were asked.

We hired these guys to work on a house where we were adding multiple bathrooms and running gas lines, etc. and had everything worked out as far as price and when they were going to start the job. They called us on the morning they were supposed to start and cancelled on us with no apology. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. Very unprofessional.
